Hey Everyone sorry its been a little since I last wrote, been busy with Joe. :) Everything has been going good just sleeping has been tough a few nights. Joe had his 2 week check up on Monday and everything went really well. Doctor Matt said that his weight, height is all where it should be. :) Dr. Matt did mention that when he was checking Joe's hips he noticed a little clicking. In two weeks Matt would like us to go back to St. Johns and get an ultra sound done of his hips just to be on the safe side. Worse thing would be Joe will have to wear a brace on him at night which will fix the problem. It might not even be anything but its better to catch things like this now and him be ok. :)

Update on his height and weight at two weeks are 9 pounds and 21 inches long. :) Hes our growing boy. :)


Sorry I still dont have any pics yet, I hope to have more time soon to post them. Keep checking back and I should have them on here soon. :)

This Saturday we have an apt. to get Joe's pictures taken. And I am excited because this Sunday is Easter and it will be Joe's first. :) We plan on going to Ben's parents house for Easter and I would like to go to church in the morning, we will see how things go with Joe.

Well.. as most of everyone knows Joe is finally here and will have more pics to post once i get them uploaded to my computer. When Joe and us left the hospital on Saturday the 21st his weight was 8 pounds exactly. Joe had his first Dr. visit on Monday the 23rd and the doctor was very happy to see him so healthy and he was back to his birth weight at 8 pounds 4 oz. The Dr. told us that we were doing a great job and to keep up the good work. :) The one thing Joe did have was Jondis which is something that will clear up on its on. We took him back to St. Johns on Monday and Tuesday for him to re test again since on Monday it was a little high. Tuesday we got the test results back and it went down, so looks like he will just be spending a little time in the sun to help his color. :) The Dr. said that he is looking good and will see us in 2 weeks for another check up.

This week we just have been learning about each other and trying to get some kind of pattern down. Nights have been OK, still a little hard with the sleeping but not too bad. His eating habits are wonderful, he takes almost 4 oz every 3 hrs.

Almost 39 weeks

Well everyone.. I will be 39 weeks next week and still just waiting for baby Joe to arrive, I'm sure it can be any day now. :) Last Dr. Apt was on Tuesday and still everything is the same and steady, still not dilated yet. :( My next Dr. apt will be next Wednesday, i sure hope there is a sign by then of Joe arriving soon. Now I just have to sit and wait patently. This may be the last time I write till baby Joe arrives. I will keep everyone informed or Ben will.

Can not believe I am 36 weeks already! :)

Update: Had one of my baby showers already at my home 2 weekends ago, sorry just now posting. (Pictures on my sisters page) I think she was sitting a little close to me for some of those pics. lol but anyway I thought it was a good turnout and I hope everyone had a good time? From what I heard they did have a nice time. All the gifts and money I recieved was wonderful and very thankful for everything that I did receive, We will be sending Thank- you's out soon. :) This was my side of the family and some really close friends. This Wednesday I will be having another shower at my job there throwing for me so more to follow on that and as well as Ben's side this coming weekend. :)

On to the Doctors- Things are still looking good and I am still able to work. Blood pressure is normal, still swelling but she said not to worry. Heart beat still good at 142 and this past visit the doctor checked to see where the baby's head was. The head was where it was supposed to be and the doctor said that the baby was real low as you can tell by looking at me, if you have seen me recently. No sign yet of the baby coming out just yet, but will probably be soon. :)

In the meantime just trying to get through the days and nights, I know its just the start.

More to follow after this weekend and more to tell since I am going to the doctors every week now. My next apt. will be this Wednesday around 4. I will keep everyone posted.

So.. I know I have not posted any pictures of myself and I have had people ask me to put a picture on here of me. So here is a somewhat picture of myself a little over 6 months. I tried to get more of my belly to show. Yea, I know I didnt look at the camera. lol

Friday I have another Doctors apt. and just will be check ups I guess, as far as I know thats all I am going for now. I will be going every two weeks now after Friday till they have me going 1 week.

Nothing really more to say, just living day by day as normal as can be and feeling more pregnant. :) Will be probably taking Maternity leave from work early March, unless directed by the doctor to go on bed rest early.

just some more talk..

So.. I have told most of everyone that we are changing our baby boy name again to Joseph Anthony Manzella after my mom. :) I thought this was more of a meaning then Alessandro. I did really like the name Alex but like I said has more meaning.







The status of myself is that I am doing good. I get swollen ankels once in awhile when I am on my feet all day. I just have to take it more easy and stay off my feet in the evening as much as I can. So far everything seems to be moving along smoothly and I feel really good. In the last blog I forgot to mention that baby Joe was 1 pound 12 oz at the last ultra sound. Hes sure growng fast and I hope not too fast till he comes out. lol Seems like hes one healthy baby so far, I sure hope that he stays that way. I can not wait till the day I can meet him.







Christmas is almost here and Im so ready for it to be over believe it or not because there just always so much to do and it can be so stressful. This christmas to me actually does mean more in the fact of my mom that she was born on Christmas day and the meaning of Christmas will always be a day we will always cherish and be there for each other. Christmas has always been such a big tradition with our family and we hope to keep it that way for our kids to come.







Baby Joseph will be here soon, I cant believe that he will be here in about 3 mo. I know time is going to fly.. It has already been flying by. I think that is another reason I am really just ready for 09. :) I know that I have so much to look forward to with my life, feeling like its just starting and there will be so much that we plan to do with our family. Next March baby Joe will be here then in May the family is taking a trip to Walt Disney World and on a Cruise to the Bahamas and then to there own private Island. I just look forward to all these things and having all of this to look foward to just keeps my mind off of sad things and gets me through the days.

baby is getting more near.

So.. went to the Doctors the other day and did another Ultra sound, but the picures did not come out as good as last time because baby Alex just could not be still. lol I did manage to get one scanned on here for you to see.

We also just recieved our furniture for Alex's Room. Attached is the pictures I tried to take. Its really hard to get a good angle in such a small room. Thanks to Dan and Andrea for helping bring up the Armore and puting it together for us. :)
