2 month check up

Joseph had his 2 month check up on Thursday and he did wonderful for the most part until the shots came. :( Although the nurse said that she has had worse. They gave him 4 shots and something he had to drink which he loved. :) Everything with the check up with the doctor was super, he is almost right on target with babies his age. His weight now is 13 lbs and 7 oz can you believe it. :O wow huh! I asked the doctor if his weight was ok? He said that he is long for his age and that his weight was fine. His height is 23.5 inches, I dont know where he will get his height from since both of us are not that tall. :) Hes are growing healthy boy and overall everything went really well. He will not have his next check up till his 4 month visit unless other circumstances would occur before that, which I hope not.

Planning on a baptismal for him soon at Seven Holy Founders next month or July? Will know a date by next Thursday after we meet with the Priest. I will let you all know when it is when I find out if you are interested in coming.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the UltraSound went great. Dr. Checked both sides of Joe's hips and everything was perfect. :) Im so happy that he was ok. Next apt. for Joe will be his 2 month check up.

This wednesday he will be going to NoNa's and Nono's house if I spelled that right meaning Grandma and Grandpa in Itailian. While we are in Florida he will be having a good time over there. He will be in good hands while we are away and we have lots of people who can take him to the Dr. if need be. I wish we could of taken Joe with us on our family trip, just not the right timing. Next time for sure he will be joining us and hopefully another sibling as well. No No.. not pregnant again yet.. we want to wait another year before we try again. :)

Well.. Not much other news since he hasnt been back to the doctors, will keep everyone up to date when I hear other news or get new pictures of our growing boy.

Hey Everyone sorry its been a little since I last wrote, been busy with Joe. :) Everything has been going good just sleeping has been tough a few nights. Joe had his 2 week check up on Monday and everything went really well. Doctor Matt said that his weight, height is all where it should be. :) Dr. Matt did mention that when he was checking Joe's hips he noticed a little clicking. In two weeks Matt would like us to go back to St. Johns and get an ultra sound done of his hips just to be on the safe side. Worse thing would be Joe will have to wear a brace on him at night which will fix the problem. It might not even be anything but its better to catch things like this now and him be ok. :)

Update on his height and weight at two weeks are 9 pounds and 21 inches long. :) Hes our growing boy. :)


Sorry I still dont have any pics yet, I hope to have more time soon to post them. Keep checking back and I should have them on here soon. :)

This Saturday we have an apt. to get Joe's pictures taken. And I am excited because this Sunday is Easter and it will be Joe's first. :) We plan on going to Ben's parents house for Easter and I would like to go to church in the morning, we will see how things go with Joe.

Well.. as most of everyone knows Joe is finally here and will have more pics to post once i get them uploaded to my computer. When Joe and us left the hospital on Saturday the 21st his weight was 8 pounds exactly. Joe had his first Dr. visit on Monday the 23rd and the doctor was very happy to see him so healthy and he was back to his birth weight at 8 pounds 4 oz. The Dr. told us that we were doing a great job and to keep up the good work. :) The one thing Joe did have was Jondis which is something that will clear up on its on. We took him back to St. Johns on Monday and Tuesday for him to re test again since on Monday it was a little high. Tuesday we got the test results back and it went down, so looks like he will just be spending a little time in the sun to help his color. :) The Dr. said that he is looking good and will see us in 2 weeks for another check up.

This week we just have been learning about each other and trying to get some kind of pattern down. Nights have been OK, still a little hard with the sleeping but not too bad. His eating habits are wonderful, he takes almost 4 oz every 3 hrs.

Almost 39 weeks

Well everyone.. I will be 39 weeks next week and still just waiting for baby Joe to arrive, I'm sure it can be any day now. :) Last Dr. Apt was on Tuesday and still everything is the same and steady, still not dilated yet. :( My next Dr. apt will be next Wednesday, i sure hope there is a sign by then of Joe arriving soon. Now I just have to sit and wait patently. This may be the last time I write till baby Joe arrives. I will keep everyone informed or Ben will.

Can not believe I am 36 weeks already! :)

Update: Had one of my baby showers already at my home 2 weekends ago, sorry just now posting. (Pictures on my sisters page) I think she was sitting a little close to me for some of those pics. lol but anyway I thought it was a good turnout and I hope everyone had a good time? From what I heard they did have a nice time. All the gifts and money I recieved was wonderful and very thankful for everything that I did receive, We will be sending Thank- you's out soon. :) This was my side of the family and some really close friends. This Wednesday I will be having another shower at my job there throwing for me so more to follow on that and as well as Ben's side this coming weekend. :)

On to the Doctors- Things are still looking good and I am still able to work. Blood pressure is normal, still swelling but she said not to worry. Heart beat still good at 142 and this past visit the doctor checked to see where the baby's head was. The head was where it was supposed to be and the doctor said that the baby was real low as you can tell by looking at me, if you have seen me recently. No sign yet of the baby coming out just yet, but will probably be soon. :)

In the meantime just trying to get through the days and nights, I know its just the start.

More to follow after this weekend and more to tell since I am going to the doctors every week now. My next apt. will be this Wednesday around 4. I will keep everyone posted.
